Except he already got his opportunity at Miami and Tennessee and ended up at Toledo. Those staffs got fired but in neither instance did incoming coaches think he was worthy of being retained. And until this Miami bro opportunity apparently no other P5 school thought he deserved an opportunity...

Same concerns with Reggie Wayne as I have with Jason Taylor…is a former player of his caliber going to be willing to grind in recruiting and put up with diva high school kids.

You are way underselling the impact of recruiters. Rumph was an absolute abomination as a recruiter; TRob comes in and immediately makes a significant impact.

I’m with you on Williams. That’s a non-starter given his past issues. With Galloway though, what he did is to me no better/worse than what all the college coaches that have dropped bags for players have done. This is not exactly a profession of high moral character filled with coaches who adhere...

Likewise Hankerson. The potential is there but with how bad the WR recruiting is we can’t take the risk on somebody that isn’t a proven ace recruiter.

Mario needs to shell out the $ on a legit hire—both from a recruiting standpoint but also ability to develop players/put guys in the league. Otherwise we’re going to continue to strike out on WRs.
