Karl Dorrell hasn’t been a college WR coach since 1994. He’s been a college HC multiple times since then, including last year. You think he wants to come in at 59 and be a WR coach at Miami? Think we have to use a little common sense here.

That doesn’t mean that it’s a must. Especially hiring someone like Hank. TE has been a more recruiting spot forever.

I mean, the writing is on the wall. Being a failed OC twice over and not getting any looks elsewhere kinda proves it for him. Won’t lose sleep either way though. He’s definitely an upgrade over Field though as a coach.

He’s been OC at Miami and UGA, and Co-OC at TAMU. His climbing is pretty much done at this point. He’s a position coach, ace recruiter and guy who helps with gameplanning.
