I was reading some comments on Reddit. It’s not pretty. They are saying this is their payback for us sending them D’Onofrio.

Do you honestly think Dana Holgersen wasn't heavily involved in the offense at Houston? Similarly, Mario is going to be involved in the offense here. It's highly unlikely that Mario is going to give Dawson carte blanche to run his own offense, particularly an air raid.

Maybe he learned a few things from Holgersen? I'm cautiously optimistic about the hire. I just hope Mario does not handcuff him too much.

He didn't run an air raid at Kentucky so I think it's presumptuous and premature to assume he's going to be running Holgersen's offense here. With that said, it's a solid hire and better than I was expecting.

I'm good with this hire. Definitely not my top choice but far better than some of the other names that we've been hearing.

I think Mario will still have his hands on this offense. I doubt Mario lets him go full raid but at least it shows that Mario is (hopefully) willing to evolve.
