Our bench again provided little. A combined 3-15. Joseph's confounding shooting slump continues.
We have much better inside presence this year with Omier than we had last season. Yeh, Sam was 6'10 but played a lot smaller in terms of being able to bang inside.
He's not but neither are most college stars. Including ours from the past like Moore, McGusty, Newton, McClellan, Angel and so on. Wong's an excellent player at this level. And that's great. Not many achieve what he has.
Agree. And everyone could see that from before the season began.
I'm not sure Casey is ready to compete from a physical standpoint but he is the only one to turn to. Aire has the body to play now, his skills are just not refined enough yet.
Good point about having experience in that type of environment. Pack doesn't have it at Cameron but has played in-state rivalry games against KU at Allen Field House so that's very comparable.
Omier has been nothing this season if not consistent but he'll have his work cut out for him inside...
