Walker gets brain lock against high level comp so far this year. I think it’s from pressing too hard. I’m not smart enough to say he’s totally a lost cause - but right now Casey provides more AND has a much higher ceiling. I hope Walker can un-pretzel his brain and prove all of us wrong.

What a terrific post. 💯💯 If.. if if if if… Casey can make the jump, we start edging towards a legitimate Final Four team. I know he struggled some tonight… but he’s figuring it out at this level and he still made meaningful contributions (2 rebounds, assist) against a top 10 team in December.

Unfortunately selection committee does not use RPI and does use NET. HOWEVER they also use SOR and we are killing it on that metric right now. Probably top 7 after tonight’s win I would guess.

Although Kenpom has no value as an overall team ranking metric… offensive and defensive efficiency statistics are definitely relevant stats for game analysis. UVA is 11th in adjusted offensive efficiency and we are 12th. Sure, if we have a bad night UVA could hold us under 60… but I think we...

Also… UVA can put up points. Anything is possible but that O/U line seems really low.

I don’t sports bet, but man that O/U of 131 looks like dead money. Hard to imagine both teams not getting past 65.
