Houston had two running backs with over 20 receptions last year. He could have had a nice role in this offense but I think starting over was his best move.

Not to mention, SMU played the national runner up out of conference. Meanwhile, Miami's toughest non-conference game was against a 5-7 team.
The line was bad but Knighton just isn't an instinctual runner. He'd run right into defenders even when he had the opportunity to run past them. He was deadly on wheel routes or anything that could get him in the open field though. A skilled guy but not a huge difference maker. On a good team...
