The line was bad but Knighton just isn't an instinctual runner. He'd run right into defenders even when he had the opportunity to run past them. He was deadly on wheel routes or anything that could get him in the open field though. A skilled guy but not a huge difference maker. On a good team...

Always liked his big play ability but he was never a starting running back. Always made sense as a third down type.
