    Rooster to SMU?

182 pounds is a non-NFL player at RB. He'd be a 1st percentile player at his size in the NFL. There are players that have played in the NFL at a lighter weight at RB...say Darren Sproles, but he was over 190 at 5'6". Tarik Cohen was light at the combine (179 @ 5'6") but played in the NFL...

    Rooster to SMU?

He's a good player. Its a shame things didn't work out here...I'm just saying as a prospect, he's in line with something SMU would get. If you look at SMU's roster, Smith would be WR4 from a composite score. He's better than that, but his prospect type isn't abnormal at SMU, is all. A P5...

    Rooster to SMU?

Knighton is definitely a level up player for a school like SMU. If you recall, though, Keyshawn Smith was a guy we got from a Washington State commitment. His other offers were like Boise, Colorado State, Fresno. He could be a good soldier for SMU, but he's an SMU level recruit.

    Rooster to SMU?

You're not staying on topic at all. You're just ranting into the ether and somehow turning a Knighton thread into a Gattis thread. His numbers under Lashlee were bad. Why we are even debating this seems like a waste of time. In less snaps, Knighton performed better on a per play basis...

    Rooster to SMU?

You can not find creative ways to utilize a player when they are unavailable (played 50% less snaps in 2022 v. 2021)...and that unavailability was due to the fact that he 1) lost his job 2) fumbled the ball (only 2 RBs in college football had more fumbles - and they had 50% more touches and 3x...

    Rooster to SMU?

He should go somewhere new. Do people not realize that Knighton was a 3.9ypc back under Lashlee and a 5.4ypc back under Gattis? 5.1 yards per play under Lashlee all scrimmage yards, 5.8 yards per play under Gattis. BUT HE WAS MORE EXPLOSIVE UNDER LASHLEE@!!!!? 2020-21, 1 game over 10 yards...
