That’s with the caveat that he continues to recruit at a top 5ish level… again that gets harder as the losses pile up. The least path of resistance here is to adapt your scheme and coaching to the personnel you have and gradually move to what he ideally wants as the recruiting classes pile up...

Players are not NC worthy but they’re not 5-7 bad. With an above average coaching staff this team would be an 8/9 win team. Manny was below average and he managed to get 7 wins. This coaching staff is horrendous.

No what you’re watching is a team average under 20 points per game with the same personnel that averaged 34 last season. Oh gee I wonder what changed!

Yea as a matter of fact you can coach that. The fact fumbles and false starts are occurring shows that the coaching is not connecting with the players. And quite frankly if you think that false starts and fumbles are what’s driving the ineptitude on the offense then you’re not watching the games.

This 1000%. There’s a contingent here that keeps trashing these players and saying that a roster overhaul will improve this team. Watch them next year, they will trash whatever players we put on the field in the name of defending this staff.

I’m very doubtful Mario’s the guy but he will get his chance to make changes after the abomination of a season he produced. How he handles this off-season will tell us a lot about the coach that Mario will be here. Will he have some introspect and adapt his way of thinking or will he be hard...
