I thought Campanile did an amazing job with Baker and Ingram this year. Both scored above 70 on PFF also in the green. They both played at a very high level. Elandon Roberts also played with a ton of energy.

Campanile to me could be an easy hire since he’s here already.

Agree on Steele but Josh Pate is making a good point on his pod that likely Saban told Steele this is a short term deal and the young coach he just brought in or Pruitt is the long term answer once his show cause goes into effect

Realistically: Geoff Collins - his defenses at UF were solid and the players seemingly loved playing for him If Mario can make this happen it would be an upgrade

I get it Steele was really good in pressers breaking down football but you can’t tell me this guy did a great job this year after those MTSU and FSU games. He got dominated on one play from each game and refused to adjust whatsoever.

Charlie one of the best developers of DL talent in the nation. You wouldn’t need Rod and Salavea though if he’s the DC. Rather have him coach DC/DE with Jason - move Rod elsewhere

I wouldn’t want to just promote Strong. Let him coach LBs and recruit his last few years before retirement. He’s 62, bring in someone who wants a HC job because of the job they do as UM DC. I’d circle back even on Campanile from Dolphins who has been interviewing for DC jobs this off-season...

Shows some stats mean nothing. Defense has been horrendous.
