Or "seal the deal this time" as in we tried and couldn't seal the deal with Candle last year.

Yup. I don't care if we run 100% of the time if we are rushing for 500 a game and scoring 35+ per.

Also QBC for anyone wondering. I'd be down with hiring Weiss after reading his background and if we miss on others. Ticks off a lot of wants.

Anyone with insight on Philip Montgomery? I know he fizzled out as HC but Tulsa isn't an easy gig, and some just aren't HC material. His offense still improved there with poor QBs. Did he call plays at Baylor? I'd kill for that offense (yes yes....bring in Art...) Baylor had strong rushing...

I agree with you. I just can't see hiring the Broyles winner as hiring an untested coordinator. He was also OC several years beforehand.

I agree to an extent. Being a Broyles award winner, despite what some thought of him, elevates him to the 'tested' category IMO. I wholeheartedly agree Mario isn't going to go the unproven route so I'm not getting any hopes up. I really think it's what we need and have been missing. We made...

We've been saying this for years. How are our 'tested' coordinator hires turning out? Give me a young innovative mind. On the record, add me to the list supporting Hartline. Recruiting alone, he's ranked #2 with a 96.35 rating (absurd and not just for WRs). He's wr coach and passing game...
