I pretty much agree with you. It's going to take a few years to get us back to where guys are fighting over themselves to come work here. Hopefully the next OC (and potentially DC) hires start that process. But it's going to take time.

Nobody has a clue. When a guy like @Cribby goes silent it either means that something is close or it's so close to the vest that nobody really knows. I think it's safe to assume that anyone throwing names out at this point really has no clue what they're talking about.

Everyone going round and round in this thread. At the end of the day, @Cribby has been silent for a reason. Nobody really knows anything and we just need to wait. It's difficult but that's just the way MC does it. If he makes a homerun hire, an extra 2 or 3 weeks won't really make a difference.

Good info. And the good thing is that MC is significantly bulking up the offensive line which always seemed to be the barrier to success against Bama, Georgia, Clemson, and the other big boys. If Frost can get his system cooking and we have enough skill and bulk to slow down the big boy defenses...

just doing some quick reading he has put up some pretty impressive numbers as an OC. and he seems like he likes to run a balanced but fast attack.

Honestly, this would make the delay make a lot more sense. If MC is doing true due diligence on Scott Frost then I can see why it would drag out this long. I have no inside information but it would make sense to me.

I don’t disagree with you but why wouldn’t MC have gone after him last December? Was there something in his Texas contract that would have precluded him from taking a job this fall? I feel like somebody would know if MC interviewed him so I’m only assuming it never happened.
