@MarioCristobal I will settle for adding an "Analyst" with extensive responsibilities re: teaching, our offensive design, and weekly game plan.

There are a lot of capable & overlooked coaches at the lower levels who never get the opportunity. Chip Kelly was at New Hampshire before he got the Oregon OC gig. Wouldn't be shocked at all if the actual best available OC is some guy at FCS who will never get a look.

I don't think he wants a mid college job, rumor at UF was that Mullen was chasing NFL gigs and stopped recruiting his last year there.

If he is a guy that doesn't like recruiting then getting paid HC money at the U for a while before an NFL offer comes in could make sense.
