You need a roster that isn't the lowest football IQ roster in the P5. Coaching has a share in this mess right now, but it comes down to execution. This team is 5-1 at least if it actually executed on half the opportunities it has.

If the best players from that roster were here, I'd agree. But we don't have those guys anymore, and they were a huge reason why we won those games. This roster is as bad as it gets.

I don't know how you can look at this roster and our complete lack of execution and think its all on coaching. Very obviously, we have a roster full of bad recruiting evals and misses.

Because what people on this board don't understand is that we have a TERRIBLE roster. We also have 20+ years of mediocre culture. There isn't a coach in the country that could clean up this Chornobyl-sized disaster in one year. We have a roster full of Manny Diaz misses.

It gets in the way of the corch narrative. These guys want one person to blame. It's absolute insanity to look at this and think Mario is somehow at fault. He's not dropping passes, fumbling, and missing blocks.

This is the worst roster we've had in the past two decades, at least. No coaching staff could turn this dumpster fire around in a year. Mario isn't forcing these guys to fumble and drop easy passes.

This nightmare, right now, is 100% on the players. Staff isn't fumbling and not converting on Fourth.

I've never seen anything like this. This isn't coaching, this is the lowest football IQ team we've probably ever had.

We'll be fine. We're not having an issue moving the ball. However, it's beyond obvious at this point that the biggest issue we have is execution. Gameplan hasn't been bad, and the scheme isn't an issue right now. Our guys not executing and digging us in a hole is.

Never give Knighton the ball again. Also, the playcalling is there. We should be up 21-0, but our guys CANNOT execute.
