Zo hasn’t spoken much at all. Mario is the voice of The Canes.

Brandon Linder. He played for Golden but may have been a Shannon recruit. 3rd round pick 2014.

I would love to be a fly on the wall for 1-1 chats between Mario and Zo.

Ironically, Golden may have had the best OLs since Butch. I think one season all five starters later played in the NFL for multiple seasons. No All-Pros or Pro Bowlers I can remember, but they played in the league. Have we had an OL make a squad and stick since Richt?

I’m not disagreeing. Bottom Line: Miami does not have the talent to be the ‘Power Spread’ elite team Mario envisions. His stubbornness lead to a terrible loss at home to MTSU, let alone losses at TAMU and last Saturday versus UNC. The short term plan should be to use what he has as creatively...

I’m not disagreeing Mario‘s approach has been disappointing to say the least. I’d also wager Ohio State, who can throw for 450 or run for 300, or both, has a far better OL than Miami’s garbage. Better talent across the board. At every position. Talent counts.

I think Mirabel is a solid OL coach, but his OL room is weak and unathletic. Coaching won’t fix it, attrition and recruiting will. Miami hasn’t been able to run the ball consistently since Golden had future NFL players and Duke was running.

Could be. And if bigger backs like Chaney and Citizen were healthy, Miami might have a better, at least competent run game. Unfortunately, Mario and staff are stubborn or don’t see the OL is not suited to maul opposing defenses. They need to scheme the run game to make it work. Which is a...

He is right is one context. The best way to keep a prolific offense from scoring is keeping them on the bench. Sadly, he needs to realize he needs to score as well.
