In all honesty, Shalala, on the administrative front as Chancellor, deserves as much credit as anyone in Madison (including Barry Alvarez), for reviving the then-comatose Wisconsin Badgers football program.
What % of his time in the Senate did Sasse not support Trump, or Conservative positions? I don't know but am betting the number was probably like 2-3%. So ... I think by any objective means to say he is not a Conservative Republican is just flat out false.
