Agree w that. First time I had high proof was Stagg, and I had it with a cube. Enjoyed it much more the second time without it. Now I only use ice when I want something sweet and make an Old Fashioned.

I have a McKenna 10 that I love, but I've heard they're kind of hit or miss depending on the barrel. Agree EHT is move oaky than Blantons, just depends what you like. If you haven't tried Old Forester 1910, I recommend that as well. Easy to find, good flavor.

Taylor hands down. Weller SR is not worth it. OWA (antique) is fantastic but way overpriced at 185, IMO, even if it's a SP. You can find them online closer to 100. Blantons is good but a lot of hype. I think EH Taylor is a much better value.
