I can get the Weller for $50 when they have it. So far I May like the McKenna 10 best. It’s $60 On my first try of Blantons and Taylor, I like the Blantons more. The Taylor had a woodsy taste. I need to try again though.

I could see how it gets the barrel’s flavor into it and that could become overkill but I’d need to try it.

I was advised against it a while back. Does it have a lot of wood in the flavor from the barrels and the process of being at sea?

We can do a Malt Liquor thread. In high school we drank Mickey Malts and Hoffenreffer’s Private Stock. I doubt they even make them any more.

Yup. I tried the Blantons and the EH Taylor. The Blantons had that silkiness. Must have rye as there was a spice. The Taylor tasted more woodsy.
