Agree, their offense is Achane. This is a game we should’ve won, and I’m interested to see what Gattis does on O to play to our strengths. That being said, we can’t have drops like we did yesterday. Opportunities were there.

They’ve averaged the #5 class in the country over the past four years. There’s a gap of talent there and it showed. We need to stack talent to win.

Imho, it’ll take 3 classes and 3 more seasons, at the least, for this team to take the next step. We having glaring holes all over this roster, and we need to stack talent. That’s how Saban did it. That’s how Kirby did it. That’s how we’re going to do it.

I don't think they're awful, they'll probably finish up 9-3, but they've got more talent than us and didn't shoot themselves. Tyrique's play was a killer. Seems like every time we play in one of these big games, we start off with a monumental mistake that puts us behind real early.

It's a weird feeling. Frustrated by the L, but that's about it. Not mad and not hopeless like in years past. We gave away this game, and we should've won. At the least, we've got the personnel and staff to actually stay in this type of game for four quarters. That's a start.

If they beat Arkansas next week, they probably finish at 9-3 at worst. They have Bama away, which is an L anyways, but the rest of their challenges are at home. Very reasonably could finish at 10-2 even, if some stuff goes their way.

The RedZone O needs to be better. He had no faith in our WRs to pull down some catches, though I wouldn't after seeing them play tonight. He needs to be better, we'll see where he goes.

This is the other way to look at it, and it could bear out this way. A&M, to me, is a team that ends up going 9-3. They've had four straight Top Ten classes, so they have talent. We'll see where this goes.

When's the last time, in a game like this, that we actually said that our defense put us in a position to win multiple times? It's been awhile. At the least, it seems like we've made a big jump on that side of the ball. The offense is the real question mark moving forward.

This loss was more frustrating than anything else. *However,* for once I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel.
