I agree the red zone play calling was suspect. The coaches aren’t blameless here. Bad clock management and soft decision making did not help. But the fact our WRs can’t get open at all is severely concerning.

Rambo had an excellent game against Michigan State. Does he replicate his numbers if King doesn’t get hurt probably not but he’s still going to give the offense a reliable top option.

Are they? Our WR1 is getting pressed every play and isn’t doing a **** thing.

TVD and Rambo. They dude had one of the best statistical years in program history. That is gone. That isn’t coming from the WR room.

The WRs can’t win on the line. I don’t care what RPO they incorporate it won’t matter.

Until we get a true playmaker on the outside it doesn’t matter. Lashlee’s offense was incredibly inefficient until Rambo showed up.

Gattis and Mario made bad mistakes. But if the guys made plays early those mistakes don’t happen. Gattis was solid up until the red zone. But he makes him money scoring TDs. Gotta fix the red zone offense.

I wish Gattis would employ some of the plays that got Mallory 1v1 in the flat while in the red zone. Eventually we have to let some of the skill we have make plays in space inside the 20.

We all knew there were major WR problems. This isn’t a new development. Run game is solid but we lack a playmaker who can open thing up inside the red zone.
