I think it's part on them and part on the design of the plays, imo. The one play Herbie commented on, the one where our receiver was running from right to left, took forever to develop. TVD waited, and waited. By the time our receiver was reaching open space, the aTm defensive linemen had gotten...

He would be for 5-10 yard gains in what this offense seems to be geared to. We'd have another X basically. Which tonight would've been nice to go to no doubt. But if you get inside the opponent's ten and call the run plays that we did, the result doesn't change no matter Rambo.

Was it just Rambo, though? Or did having a QB like TVD make it click too? We still have the QB, the OLine is much improved, the run game is better, but we're lacking plays that can put our passing game in a position to succeed. The drops today were brutal. No argument to say otherwise.

Okay, so why not incorporate some of what did work? Things that made TVD be successful. Maybe I'm imagining it, but I thought Gattis said he adjusted to his roster's strength when he was first hired? If he did, it was coach speak then.

Don't think Rambo flourishes in this offense, to be perfectly honest. Yes, the receivers dropped way too many. But the play calling, especially in the red zone, wasn't good either. This is going to be long year w/ this offense.

Slow **** developing plays, slower check on me adjustments, no uptempo. Yeah, we've regressed as we saw.
