I take your point, but going with a heavy run focus does actually play to thr strengths of our personnel. The weakest link on our offense, by far, are the receivers. I trust Rooster and Parrish to get the job done more than anyone that we have at receiver, except for maybe Restrepo.

And you seem to be incapable of realizing that we Knighton had 5 carries—that isn’t even close to being statistically meaningful. If you take out TVDs scrambles/sacks we rushed 31 times for 190 yards—6.1 ypc.

Parrish and Franklin led the team in carries against Southern Miss and averaged 4.6 and 4.8 yards per carry respectively. We ran the ball perfectly well in this game.
