    TreVonte Citizen - Year One

Here's the numbers the last 2 years and my thoughts on them. I'm comparing Parrish to the 2 other Ole Miss RB's The lack of explosive plays is a concern - I put that more on the RB than the OL than most - but that's just my opinion & there's no right/wrong answer here Chaney - I love...

    TreVonte Citizen - Year One

This isn't directed at you or Henry Parrish, who IMO has been the most productive of our RB's and I'm happy is on the team and can very much see being our best RB this year. But as a GENERAL statement: If a 190lb/4.6 JR averaging 5.1 ypc is the BEST RB in a backfield - then a Top 100 RB...

    TreVonte Citizen - Year One

I've gone deep into the data and found there's a a couple easy checkpoints a RB should be hitting if he's legit - regardless of their situations or anyone's biases Does he average 5.5 ypc overall (ideally 6.0)? Does he average 4.5 ypc vs P5 teams (ideally 5.0)? Does he have a speed score over...

    TreVonte Citizen - Year One

No doubt Knighton dished out some punishment and is tough as ****. What Coaches & Knighton himself need to ask is - "You're a 190lb speedster - so why do you keep trying to run through defenders instead of avoiding them?" Until Knighton makes that change he won't reach his potential

    TreVonte Citizen - Year One

As Ricky Williams said when asked about how much credit he gives the OL "I mean, some. The OL opens the hole, but I still gotta run through it" The OL can open a huge hole - but there's a world of difference between Willis McGahee & Robert Burns running through that hole.

    TreVonte Citizen - Year One

100% this Exactly - OL is important. But Talent is MUCH more important When we have truly special RB's like Duke Johnson & Lamar Miller - it's easy to see how much better they perform in the same backfield vs other talented RB's like James, Yearby, Gus, Berry, etc. All talented RB's - just...

    TreVonte Citizen - Year One

Cam (last 2 years) - 197 att - 8 30+ yd runs Knighton - 197 att - 1 30+ yd run Parrish - 161 att - 1 30+ yd run Chaney - 79 att - 2 30+ yd runs Those 3 are talented but still have room to improve, and have also shown some limitations which makes Citizen taking over this backfield a very real...

    TreVonte Citizen - Year One

For this Year - you could tell me any of the 5 RB's lead us in rushing and I wouldn't argue against it. I think it's going to be harder for the coaches to figure out a rotation than what people are thinking. By the end of their careers - I'd put the best odds on Citizen ending up the most talented
