    USC and UCLA to B1G

Just an absolutely awful deal. And it's what probably kills the ACC.

While that would be hilarious, if it becomes known that ND is looking to join a conference, there will be no shortage of suitors for them.

    1. It's about the money. If the ACC can get $10-$20M more per year on their TV deal (they have the option to renegotiate if the ACC adds teams) than what they'd get remaining independent, they'll list. 2. The ACC has always been a better cultural fit for ND. BC, Duke, Wake Forest, Miami, GT and...

    USC and UCLA to B1G

Join the ACC as a full-time member. ND's TV deal with NBC is up in 2025. It currently pays them $15M. Even if they get double that in a few years, they're still $30-50M behind what B10 and SEC teams will be getting every year on their new deals. It's no longer viable to remain independent...

    USC and UCLA to B1G

If Clemson jumps, it's to the SEC. Guaranteed.

    USC and UCLA to B1G

This would most likely save the ACC. It's TV deal has a clause that said it can be renegotiated if the ACC hits 16 teams.

    USC and UCLA to B1G

Yup. Rumors are that B10 is offering $80M+ per school, per year, if they could poach the LA schools. Well...the first domino seems like it just fell.

This. SEC TV deal paid out $55M to each team last season. ACC's was $18M. The ACC tv deal will be the death of the conference. It runs until 2036 and things will be gone long before then.

However you want to spin it, this is really, really bad for the ACC.
