Linville up to Grandfather Mountain has some amazing courses. We played Grandfather Country Club long time ago, I was blown away. Always stuck with me. I know we played Linville Land Harbor and one other, both were really nice. I don't think I ever played Linville Golf Club though.

I think I counted 8 on the initial list that we had school trips to. I guess those don't happen as frequent now.

Those are solid, mention of stadiums made me think of Omaha, Williamsport.

I was going to add that too, amazing down there. How about a real oddity, Pinecraft Florida. Amish Vegas.

I believe that area is really one of the true hidden gems in this country. I have a hard time convincing southerners of that though.

Joshua Tree, Redwood National Park, Area 51......

I would add San Diego Zoo, Blue Ridge Mountains, Catskills, Upper Peninsula Michigan ( yoopers ), International Falls.....

Never been to Alcatraz or Zion National Park.
