Until teams are seeded 1-64 there is no such thing as “competitive balance.” That goes for basketball as well. There are plenty of examples but just in our bracket we have Ole Miss who was the last team in. How did they get in the 6 seeded regional when they should’ve been in the 2 bc they...
He’s misconstruing what is said every year about the ACCT. The popular saying is that it doesn’t help or hurt your seedings. Which we found out again this year, that’s simply not true.
Rule is you can’t “fake a throw to a base” but with that dumb pitch clock rule, if you don’t act like you’re throwing to a base the clock doesn’t reset. It’s contradictory and makes zero sense.
I was looking at their conference record right now, as their regular season and adding the tourney games. Math error on my part. But yea 18-17 won’t cut it.
Must watch tv. The explanations be for and against teams will be like me and Inday’s circular Miami/ND argument. There’s gonna be a ton of ****ed off people.
If one of them wins the tourney, maybe. Comes down to us and ND as well. Realistically 7-10 is up for grabs for us. I could also see Maryland falling to 6-8 if they lose in extras right now. So many moving parts
If they don’t win that tourney, they drop to 14-16 range. Very much in danger of missing top 16 altogether, if a couple other teams keep winning. UF, OU, ECU, GASo in particular.
