Ruiz was on WQAM talking Potential New NIL Guidelines

Yes, they were begging people to start donating $10 a month to Flaccid Spear so they could have some NIL funds to dish out. This is exactly what these new rules are trying to stop

Ruiz was on WQAM talking Potential New NIL Guidelines

I could be wrong, but I think what got them caught was her sending an invoice to the NCAA for asking all of the questions they wanted asked in court and under oath. Had they paid the original invoice it never would have gotten out

Ruiz was on WQAM talking Potential New NIL Guidelines

I do like that several of these attorneys/agents have said they are ready to slap a lawsuit on the NCAA the second they mess with their clients. What I don't know is whether or not they will only care about their clients and not the schools themselves. It seems the NCAA will only go after...

Ruiz was on WQAM talking Potential New NIL Guidelines

I agree to a certain extent. The issue is public perception. If we wage a full on war with the NCAA in public, other coaching staffs are going to pounce on this and tell kids we will be on probation in the near future. Ruiz was on WQAM talking Potential New NIL Guidelines

They can be, but they are not supposed to be in contact with a recruit during their recruitment. This would suggest pay 4 play, when NIL is supposed to be regarding marketing their brand. I do like that Ruiz has given deals to kids at other schools so not only do his contracts not say they...

Ruiz was on WQAM talking Potential New NIL Guidelines

This retroactive stuff is what worries me. The ncaa has to hold a grudge how they get drug through the mud with shapiro's attorney outing them. And Ruiz already threatening legal action if he even gets his shoulder tapped isn't helping the cause either

Ruiz was on WQAM talking Potential New NIL Guidelines

Good point. Enrolled in classes? Yes. In the portal? Yes. Not a good example, unless they can prove there was communication prior to his entry into the portal

Ruiz was on WQAM talking Potential New NIL Guidelines

I don't think the deals being compliant is an issue. The issue is if Ruiz was meeting with and offering recruits and transfers prior to their enrollment. What's funny is Mims might have gotten fsu in trouble since he met with them and supposedly signed an NIL contract. If he did that prior to...
