It’s inferior to the old theme. My guess is that it runs faster and has better back-end features and/or the consultant told him it’s cleaner so he’s sold on it when in reality - in practice - it’s inferior visually and functionally for the user.

This and Find Potato are my 2 favorites. @Baba Yaga ’s reads like a great children’s story. It brought me back to the days of reading the Cow Jumped Over the Moon to my kids.

I can explain it. He didn’t make the poll. I did. And I did it because I knew what was being said was not accurate and, in fact, negatively impacts user engagement.

@DMoney this is different than the change in 2014 or 2015. It isn’t readable to most of us on the mobile. Why would anyone see the results of this poll and think the new theme is a good idea. It’s horrible.

You set the website up with the new style as the default which skews the results and now you’re rallying around it. This part in red is garbage. The poll is 11 to 1 against the new style and in favor of the old style. Be objective about it. Jfc. The poll is your feedback and it hasn’t changed...

I’ve been in DM’s and in this thread only. It’s literally too much of a deterrent to read the board - to the point I’m actually spending more of my time elsewhere and just checking in.

Based on the poll, if he has to choose one style he should choose the old style over the new one. The poll is 10 to 1 in favor of the old style vs the new style.
