ok - so him leaving doesn't really do us anything in regards to an additional spot this year since we already had 7 and I don't think we can hit our roster cap with the amount of scholarships that we are able to give out?

I know that we are allowed a one for one replacement up to 7 lost to the portal; does that reset each year on 12/15? Otherwise, I think we were already at our 7 max.
