Places to knock down for stadium

Oh bro, my fault. I thought I put lol behind my first statement. Lol. That’s y my response was a laugh b/c I knew it was a joke. My bad, my g. But yeah man, F1 is definitely cheese & wine for sure. I mean we’re talking fine luxury cars racing w/ Rolex as a sponsor. Lol. But man, it’s dope to...

Places to knock down for stadium

Wow; that’s a hellluva generalization, my guy. I’m sure MJ fits that mode, too, huh? Bruh, I’m from the land where low riders came into existence. Side shows & donuts, w/ street racing on Crenshaw Blvd. I’m just into cars & speed. NASCAR is a new sport, boss.

Still my goal to hit up a NASCAR event in person.

Places to knock down for stadium

I’ll admit, watching NASCAR on TV is 100% better than F1. However, just being up close & personal for F1 is different.

Yeah; I love some F1. I’m peeping it & it looks to be a solid track, although I’ve seen them throttle down a lot more on this track hitting the turns than some others, but overall it’s a good clean race. Love the crowd there. F1 has a certain “type of” crowd vs. NASCAR, honestly.

Places to knock down for stadium

I’ve been to several F1 races, as my former company used to be one of the sponsors in Long Beach, CA. It’s always been well received. I’ve been up close & personal w/ F1 cars, & no grip on the track w/ these performance vehicles is no bueno. The amount of speed, torque these cars possess, they...

Places to knock down for stadium

I’m sure w/ Miami’s brand, it would be huge. I didn’t even realize FTX paid $135m in crypto currency to The Heat for their naming rights. They paid Berkeley $17.5m for the naming rights of their football stadium.

Places to knock down for stadium

Allow me to put a bow on my argument for a stadium so that I don’t offend or confuse anyone. Of course I’m a pro-stadium for The Canes, b/c I know the “potential” revenue stream it can bring. As I posted, Ross made $250m, alone, from naming rights. That’s apart of the equation a lot of fans...

Places to knock down for stadium

Yeah; I actually just said that in response to Notsince1985. I didn’t put the #’s, but I said our best yrs at Sunlife - HRS attendance was 2016 - 2018. I was being specific of his 2001 season claim. Just like I didn’t highlight in 2002, when the OB avg. 69,539. Lol.

Places to knock down for stadium

Talk to me. I believe our avg. attendance since moving to Sun Life - HRS has been around 47k, although 2016-18 were the best yrs. I also think that’s y some fans have said having a stadium w/ 60k+ would make no sense, vs. a 55k seat stadium. But what was the point, my brotha?

Places to knock down for stadium

Yeah; I used to come to Miami a lot, but it’s been since 2010, August 2010 to be exact. I know the laws & bylaws, and greasing of palms is quite different. Lol. The infrastructure of the layout is different. Let me be clear ladies & gents, all I’m saying “IF” the opportunity arises, it could be...

Places to knock down for stadium

So do u want me to believe Manny Navarro who’s notorious for misquoting & getting things incorrect, or The University of Miami’s actual audit report; which one? Secondly, I’m not trying to turn anything. I don’t change narratives or push goal post. I’m not that dude. I CLEARLY SAID some...

Places to knock down for stadium

No, stadiums aren’t huge money losers. LolThat was a parroted counter argument made to justify us staying at HRS. Is it true some Universities lose money off operating their own stadium? Yes, & those Universities typically have a poor ADs. I provided the financial terms of USC on this board...

Places to knock down for stadium

C’mon my brotha; if u’re going to tell a story, tell the whole story: Attendance from ‘00 - ‘04: 58,280 avg.

Places to knock down for stadium

I don’t care about Ross & Dolphin stadium, I care about the U & our revenue. Did u just say Miami doesn’t pay rent to Ross? Lol. Literally on the very last page of the financial report, it says we’re on a short term lease until Dec. 31, 2032. The reason it’s considered ‘short term’ is b/c of...

Places to knock down for stadium

So how does a race track benefit the University of Miami? I keep hearing “good for HRS”, but are we benefiting from it? Are we making any $$ from it? Are season ticket holders getting first access to view the events? If not, why is anyone gushing over what someone else is profiting from?

Places to knock down for stadium

If a new stadium is not helping Miami’s revenue stream, then it’s not worth it. That’s the whole point of having ur own stadium, or being an operating partner. U get naming rights money, event revenue, parking, concession stands %, etc. Being strictly tenants from one situation to another...
