Places to knock down for stadium

At my previous job, NASCAR was one of our clients, along with certain racers, and I had access to where the cars/teams are and that was a cool experience. After a while, I found it boring but I was dealing with corporate side of the event so it wasn’t too bad. I am not a fan of this kind of...

Places to knock down for stadium

Downtown Miami crushes sawgrass area as far location, it’s not even close. You can’t look at it from just a convenience stand point. In a few years, that area is going to be crazy with the amount of changes downtown area is turning into.

I think AAA Is a much nicer looking stadium and better location but BB&T customer service (family friendly, professional, etc.) is superior and parking is easier.

Great post. I really like HRS but the more I hear ND game as an argument to stay at that stadium the more I question if we should. Is that the only argument people have for HRS? There are soooooo many other variables to playing at a specific venue. IMO, I think a new stadium is coming for...

Places to knock down for stadium

I guess if the idea was to build something for both FC and Hurricanes from the very beginning then I would be more optimistic. However, to do this because a politician randomly (whether that was on planned or not) brought this idea up, is questionable. Ruiz’s idea ***** on this one. Tropical...

Places to knock down for stadium

Playing at a soccer stadium is moronic and totally defeats the purpose to leaving into a venue that belongs to you like Tropical Park idea. For that, I rather stay at Hard Rock.

TIFWIW but I was told by two legit people it’s not BS and he has been far from a bull**** artist, thus far. We shall see what happens.

Places to knock down for stadium

Not true. A lot of space closer to bird that isn't used all the time. Certainly, nothing that can't be moved if redesigned correctly. Like i said previously, let's see what the plans show to see if it makes sense.

Let’s see what the actual proposal is before assuming anything. Have you been to Tropical Park? I played Baseball there as a kid for 10 years and softball as an adult. Been there a million times. A great deal of the park isn’t really used and there is a lot of dead space. If remodeled correctly...

Not exactly sure what your point is but their proposal will include 2 high school stadiums additionally to the Hurricanes stadium.

Agreed but it can go the other way with the corrupted, but point taken. According to Ruiz, the voters will say if they want this project to proceed or not. Time will tell what happens. Once the plans begin to come out in 2-3 months, and there is a formal proposal, we will be able to know if...

Places to knock down for stadium

None of those situations discussed about upgrading a high school stadium and building new one, building 8-10 new softball/baseball fields, batting cages, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, swimming pools, healthcare building/resources, etc. The park will still be a “park” 99.8 % of the...

Not sure why you think it won’t get voted. What this project does towards the economy, jobs, community, healthcare, tropical park visitors, etc., outweighs the traffic for 7 days.

I have been to many games on the road, they are all **** shows. A loud minority of fans are *****ing just to *****.

Places to knock down for stadium

If the money (billions) is there and Tropical Park is going to be gifted these resources without paying a dime, anything is possible. I understand people don’t believe it can happen but when money is involved, it’s naive to think anything is 100%.

Places to knock down for stadium

Ruiz just said the stadium will be 65k and going to cost roughly $2 billion, built in 2-3 years. Obviously, the plan is to remodel and upgrade the entire park to give community and several facilities for high school’s they don’t currently have. Plus, add a hotel and some kind of medical trauma...
