He should have tried getting to the rim, if anything, but again, he has 4-5 seconds to get a shot once she's crossed half court. You are never getting a clean look at the rim in that situation

Learn the game people. You can't advance the ball in college. 8 seconds with the ball coming out the backcourt leaves you with very few options as far as actions go.
