This. I think people still assume that he would play if he wasn't up to par because he was one of Mario's guys or a veteran or something. That's not happening anymore. So bring him in and let him compete. He certainly has the upside.

I think he actually got hurt in the Alabama game and got shut down then. I don't know what the injury is but I don't think he was healthy all season. As far as I know he's coming back.

I think Mario is expecting the young guys to step up, but he wants another big bodied veteran guy with a lot of upside.

I don't see the downside. You guys are still thinking under the Manny paradigm. If he can't beat out the younger guys he won't play. If he can be a big body possession/deep threat then great.
