Forget a new stadium for a sec...

Sir, respectfully, I don’t think you understand the importance of a major division one football program owning and operating their own stadium. There is a revenue component to this as well that i have touched on ad nausea. Lets just agree to disagree and hope that the new AD, having been at...

Forget a new stadium for a sec...

Eventually, something is bound to happen where HRS is no longer viable. A new owner, maybe wants a new stadium, maybe wants to move/relocate, maybe wants to charge UM more money. Its going to happen. And how embarrassing would that be for a top program like UM if it is left scrambling to find a...

    It MUST be done eventually.

And this is what happens when you dont own. Who is to say the Fins next owner doesn’t jack up the rent to some ridiculous non feasible amount? Be held at ransom and pay it? Smdh. OWN YOUR OWN SH*T if you can!

In 2015, Miami was reported to have 17 years left on the lease at HRS. Curious if there has been an extension since then. Anybody know? Anyway, i think it is apparent that some folks are shamelessly selfish. They rather find anything they can think of to keep UM in a dependent state, just so...

I dont know sir. I have no idea. That would be the job of UM. Thats not my job and i dont have the knowledge or expertise. You are asking the wrong person. I just know that when you rent or lease from someone, you may be forced to find somewhere else to live. Thats all and it has already...

Ross is 81 years old. After Ross, you nor I have any idea what is next. When it comes to professional sports teams and stadiums, anything can happen. And what i mean about the Orange bowl situation is this: UM had no control in that situation. UM had no say. UM got put out on their asses and...

Forget a new stadium for a sec...

I dont know. But what i do know is that UM needs to figure it out. To assume another Orange Bowl situation cannot emerge would be very careless. To wait until “we cross that bridge” would be even more careless.

So yall think HRS is just automatically going to be there forever? Yall dont think an issue will ever arise where UM may be forced to find an alternative? Then what? Ask to share FIU? Is that what you want? Ask to somehow share Marlins stadium? This is pro sports we are talking about. Think...

Just look around the country. There is a reason **** near all major programs seek to build, renovate, own their own stadiums. Some schools dont break even, but Miami should not compare itself to those schools. Also, its not just 8 games. Advertising space goes beyond that, you lease out for...

Forget a new stadium for a sec...

Right, people think the determining factor is how pretty, convenient, and loud it is. Sure, those are things but that is at the bottom when it comes to revenue. Advertising, parking, concessions, leasing agreements, the revenue for a consistently sold out facility is significant.

Because people aren’t looking deeper than how loud or comfortable the stadium is. THE concern is the money. UM makes far more money selling out its OWN stadium than they do selling out a stadium they dont own. Own your sh*t. ALWAYS own your sh*t.

Revenue from your own stadium contributes to these projects. Never forget about a stadium. UM needs to own and operate their own stadium. The sooner the better. You want to unseat Bama? Take it all the way. Dont get chubby and lazy now. Find the location, purchase, build, sell it out, rake in...
