true that. However, TVD doesn't have the athleticism nor pocket presence of Burrow that buys time to pick defenses apart; he doesn't trust the pocket enough. Just cautioning expectations a bit, but if TVD can get more comfortable in the pocket it will do wonders for his game.

Strong post. But don’t underestimate the synergy between Brady and Burrow. I’d say Burrow’s talent & ability to execute the offense was also key. Not a Brady detector by any stretch, but great coaches put players in position to succeed and maximize talent.

I like the Brady/Coley combination; both local and complimentary experience/skill-set. Brady has had success in spread offenses, and Coley has been around a lot of offenses in college at UGA and with Jimbo. The key would be communication, sharing responsibilities and how well they’d work together.
