I’d love Jeff Lebby, he’s another great Air Raid Leach/Briles disciple. But I think he’s locked in with Kiffin, I don’t see him leaving Lane to come coach for Mario.

He doesn’t, but hopefully he hires an OC who does.

I doubt he gets fired by Texas after year 1. But even if he did, Sark’s offense really only works with Bama level talent, his system would suck here.

IMO Lane, Herman & Freeze are all interchangeable. That’s why I’ve tried to explain a million times over in these threads it’s not Mario vs anti-Mario for me... It’s one Philosophy vs another. The problem is, the moment you ask a question or even consider another possibility people immediately...

IMO would be a horrendous hire as an OC. This offense is ready made to be lethal, Ponce has only been a play caller at the HS level & just recently became OC at App St, during his previous years at App under Satterfield he never called plays. Miami needs a proven killer lab technician OC...

In all honesty, I don’t really think it’s even Mario vs Kiffin anymore, it’s really a Mario vs Mario debate. It’s the idea of the perception that Mario is a literal perfect Coach vs the reality of Mario as a coach. I think what’s happened is that because Mario has been heralded as a near Deity...

Here’s the issue in that line of thinking... Oregon is in year 4 of Mario’s recruiting, needing a limited QB like Anthony Brown in year 4 is a head scratcher for an Elite recruiter, so if Brown is a bust it makes you wonder why you would bet the house on a QB who isn’t very good to begin with...

I think Moorehead works in the B1G style because it’s all centered around running the Football. From a personnel standpoint Miami needs an Air Raid OC, that incorporates the run game as well but isn’t dependent on it in the same way that Moorehead will be. I’m not that high on Marcus Arroyo...

That’s fair. But I’ll say this, Mario has to ace the OC hire, if he doesn’t get that right he’s in for a long journey to rebuild Miami.
