I don't think anything is official yet but I woke up this morning and Fernandez's name is all over my text messages. Who knows at this point but it would be the most UM administration thing ever to go from Jurich to Fernandez. I DON'T WANT ANYONE THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY PART OF THIS INCOMPETENT...

Here we ******* go again. From Jurich to Fernandez is a BIG let down. This is why I said yesterday I refuse to exhale until it's official. They'll find a way to **** up the head coach hiring. I'm sorry, but I have zero confidence in these incompetent *****.

If it’s Mario , Lane , or Freeze. We can’t lose . You know who the best recruiter in America has been for the last 40 years? His name is “WINNING “. There is something to be said for game day X’S and O’s acumen .

I know everyone is yelling for Mario and Lane, but hard to argue that Freeze would also be a solid hire . I just need to know with 100% certainty it’s Jurich before I can exhale . I think the dominoes would fall from there and I’m confident he’d make a good hire .

Ok that’s fair . I’ve commented on Mario’s game day acumen or lack thereof many times on these boards . The fact is Lane can coach circles around him from an X’s and O’s standpoint. I liken Mario to a Butch archetype and Lane has some Spurrier in him . Neither is anywhere near those levels...

You that down on him ? I mean I’m on record saying I prefer Lane but there is also no denying Mario would be a definite upgrade over what we had . **** , he’s Bill Walsh compared to the last 5 clowns . Full disclosure , I went to CCHS…..but I’m not married to the idea it HAS to be Mario .
