    Well, that's a tough call. LBs would be much better. I was curious about penalties and looked it up, Miami was a heavily penalized team under Shannon. In our best season in years, 2017, Miami was #34 in penalties. Seems to be a lesson in there, but damned if I can figure it out.

    Let's look at the failed "Miami guy" hires. Coker - who the players wanted, unqualified. Shannon, DC with no HC experience, failed. Golden wasn't a Miami guy. Sad as it sounds, he was the best recruiter/evaluator we've had since Butch. Richt was a horrendous talent evaluator. Nice guy but...
