Exactly. What is frustrating in these situations is the announcers either ignoring what is an obvious situation, or pretending that it’s perhaps a questionable call...when it’s actually an unconscionable, truly corrupt call that gives evidence that playing the game might be pointless.

Exactly. Announcers pretend to be perplexed, when it is obvious that a special exception is being made for a BCS team. Everyone knows the score, but no one says what is actually happening.
