Exact same thing as Carter. Got ran over once and he carried that stigma with him forever despite going on to become an All American. Carter is no AA but he's been decent. There was no need to write him off completely.

Frierson looks pregnant in most pics while Carter is carved out of wood. Not surprised to see Carter receive the nod.

Just a hunch but I think we'll see a healthy dose of Carter at safety and Frierson at striker.
