    Nebraska was and lost it during realignment. Big 10 still took them, relying on their ability to regain accreditation, but reduced their media rights revenues until that happened.

    They were, then they lost it during the realignment process. The Big 10 knew it was coming and reduced their otherwise equal medal rights share until they got re-accredited.

    The Big 10 will not take a school not accredited by the AAU. Miami is not so accredited. Also the Big 10 has never taken school that did not have a wrestling program. The Big 10 wants what it considers complimentary institutions. The rules are changing, but I doubt they change that much.
