Looked more into Knighton take away UAB game and he’s got 43 carries for 150 (3.4 ypc vs ACC). He does have 135 total yards receiving with 75 yards on 1 play (10 catches for 60 yards is the rest). The other issue besides not passing the eye test are his kick returns. I blame the ST coach here...

this is more like it...only part I disagree with is the comment that both have been good. Chaney has been good but Knighton has been below average. He seems to lack vision which can’t be taught.

Take a look at Pope’s offer sheet...and he fails the eye test as well. Some people’s “speed” just don’t translate to the foozball field.

I can honestly see Knighton transferring after next year. Probably to an FAU type school where he can be a little more productive.

What have you seen from Knighton that makes anyone think he’s “that dude”. Some kids abilities just don’t translate to the College game. His lack of vision and speed are hurting him big time. He’s super sneaky slow, if ya know what I mean.

Cam’ron and Chaney are both good...but we need a home run hitter out of the backfield to really take the next step. Now that we know Knighton ain’t the guy, is there any big time recruit we are getting that can fill this role?
