This season probably won’t even be as good as 2017, and even if it is, so what. With King gone, we’ll probably have another 2018-19 type season in 2021.
Our offense has “improved” in 2020 partly because of King, and partly because our offense was so bad in 2019 that there was no way to go but up. I’m really not impressed by the offensive “improvement” this year.
Yeah, I forgot about him. He was drafted way back in 2008 though.
Anyway, I'll rephrase my question. Who is our best NFL player of people who have been drafted in the last 10 drafts? That would be the 2011 draft to present.
I will be very surprised if we win out.
If we go 9-2, it really won't be a particularly impressive 9-2. It'll just be because the ACC (except for Clemson) is so mediocre.
And next year, King will be gone.
I think there's 100% agreement that we've "improved" from last year.
However, last year was probably the worst Miami team since the 1970s. "Improvement" from last year is hardly anything to be happy about.
Who is our best former player who's currently in the NFL?
For all the talk about our draft picks, they not only are drafted in late rounds, but they also never seem to do anything in the NFL.
Our players aren't drafted highly, though. Don't we only have one player in the last four or five drafts who was drafted in the first three rounds?
This is what people talking about our NFL draft picks tend to ignore.
