I did that on Robinson's multiple choice Trusts & Estates exam. SWORE I failed, got an A. That motherfvcker taught classes like Ben Stein from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Anyone...anyone...gain or loss?

I'm not kidding, Steven Winter stalked MULTIPLE females in my Civ Pro class. And it was SMALL SECTION, so there were only, like, 40 people in the class. And the females he stalked looked like the waitresses at Monk's...the ones that Elaine is jealous of in "The Pilot"...

Yeah, Manning was ancient 25 years ago. LOVE Mickey Graham, one of my favorites. His daughter went to UM undergrad with me. So, my first semester was Hausler (R.I.P.), Schnably (still there), Stotzky (still there), and Steven Winter (sayonara, stalker). Second semester was Swan (R.I.P.)...

I actually took Anderson for Analysis of Evidence (not the actual "rules of" Evidence class that we all take for the bar exam). He was pretty good in that class, I learned a lot. Later, he coached myself and a handful of other 3Ls on the ABA National Mock Trial team. We got slaughtered by the...

Longer. He co-wrote that Elements textbook with Soia Mentschikoff in 1981. I'm not sure of the exact year he started at UM, but I'm fairly certain it was in the 80s.

My least-favorite professor in law school (well, besides Steven Winter, who stalked several females in my class and was eventually "nudged" out).

Upper level classes are different, and are more directed study. First couple of years of B-School (mostly) still use traditional texts (for now). I do think things are going to change rapidly from here on out.

I'm not going to hold my breath for Stone, but let's not forget those twins who were THIRD GENERATION Longhorns choosing NOT to go to Texas. Crazy ****e could happen.

Dude, books are SUPER expensive these days. I agree with you, some classes have moved away from "traditional" hardcover textbooks, but a lot of the football players are in the B-School and business textbooks are not cheap. But, yes, if it's a COVID-19 online course, that's probably not as big...

Just to be clear... A Wilson blueshirt would put him in the 2021-2022 class. Borregales/Ishmael blueshirts would put them in the 2022-2023 class.

Yes (basically) and Yes. I mentioned earlier, there may be a price differential that needs to be paid on "training table meal plan" vs. "20 meal plan". But, yes, the scholarship athlete vs. PWO athlete distinction has been removed on issues such as medical care, training, nutritional...

    1. While that sounds great, I would just wonder how much the kids know about the NCAA IC rules. 2. **** rule changes, things have changed since I was at UM.

Not disputing anything you said AT ALL. Just asking a question - I get it if he wasn't a "priority", but given his ability, and given our need, why didn't UM at least "stay in touch" and simply continue to recruit the kid as a Plan B (I apologize for any judgment associated with this). Do you...

Yes, it is certainly possible. One wonders if the "looking around" might have ORIGINATED from an attempt at a blueshirt conversation. These things are tricky. There are reasons we never pulled it off previously.

I agree. I'm a big student of history. It crushes me to think that it took the Holocaust for many people in the world to START to consider being less anti-Semitic. It's heartbreaking to think that it took over 150 years since the Civil War was won for people to examine the concept that Blacks...
