my son just graduated from the business school. he had a grand total of 3 books for the year. He just said virtually everything is power points, or online sites you subscribe to to do homework, etc. I think science majors are more likely to have books and those are pricey. I don't know...

I doubt we're talking about much in the way of books. Most of these course ask for online resources or you have to subscribe to different sites for homework, etc. Pretty minimal investment in books these days....

As far as housing, books, fees, etc. there are SO MANY scholarships available for kids, including freshmen, I bet there's something that would work. I'm sure if it comes to this, it will get figured out...
