Na, Limpgard quit once he saw the RB depth coming. He knew he would never see the field here once Chaney and Knighton jumped. Issh was actually already competing for one of the tackle jobs and was in the thick of it.
Look, I’m not getting the vibe he quit. I’m getting a vibe that he was lied to and things soured quickly. Issh was a high motor, hard working kid out of high school. I don’t even think he missed a camp. That doesn’t sound like a quitter.
That’s a bunch of bull. A college coach can go to another college and recruit somebody they recruited from another school. It doesn’t matter if it’s an off the field role or on the field.
Man, Manny took Jeff back after quitting AND Cleveland. The heck he’s gonna tell the kid?
“A Miami offer means something! You’re only allowed to quit AFTER you make my crooting class look good on paper!”
I mean I’ve never heard of any character concerns about him. If you ask me I think he was already homesick and when he came back home he decided he didn’t want to leave. That can happen to anybody.
