Is D’Eriq King really stepping up his competition?

In 2018, he passed for 2,982yds & 36TD's with 674yds & 14TD's rushing. My projection is that he passes for upwards of 118 more yards, throws within the same TD range & rushes within the same rushing yards range as he did at Houston that season. It's not absurd IMO & not setting myself up for...

Is D’Eriq King really stepping up his competition?

    That's a very shortsighted look at it. Vs TTech he was 30/51 431yds & 5TD's passing with 47yds rushing & 1TD. Vs AZ he was 17/34 246yds 4TD's passing with 31yds rushing & 2TD's . In 2019 the Redshirt year - vs Wash St he was 13/24 128yds 1TD passing with 94yds rushing & 2TD's. Vs Oklahoma...

Is D’Eriq King really stepping up his competition?

I projected him as being significantly more productive. Definitely passing for more than 3100yds & 35-40TD's, plus a good 600-700+yards rushing with 7-10TD's.

Is D’Eriq King really stepping up his competition?

And the caveat with King is that he'll have more weapons at Miami than he's ever had at Houston. You take King, put him in Lashlee's SMU-Air Raid/Auburn-Arkansas run game offense, give him our RB stable, the WR group full of 4-stars & two highly athletic TE's & that's a top 25 offense on...

Is D’Eriq King really stepping up his competition?

I had this argument with people on here a few months back in my Lashlee/King thread. The idea that there's some big gap in competition between Miami & the G5 schools is a myth, I mean could it be even more clearer than what happened when we played CMU, FIU & La Tech? King even as a G5 QB is...
