For the “we don’t play anybody” crowd

I'm Sure if Notre Dame and Florida agreed to play us annually or any other year we're not scheduled in Notre Dame's case we would no matter what the ACC says. Every team has to agree to some sort of term it's not just on the AD guarantee we wouldnt schedule both ND and Florida as annual games...

Yep, for all those that want a tougher schedule, we're about to see it starting next year...and the likelihood is that we will be thoroughly embarrassed by Bama and TAMU

James has the same mindset as the coaches he hires, he wants to give the impression of a winning program by inflating wins against bad teams. but our coaches arent here long enough to actually play the teams that get scheduled during their tenure so it doesnt really matter what the coahces...

Exactly, look at the year we went 9-4 under Golden. the teams we beat had a collective record under .500 and we lost to the only decent teams on our schedule. Thats how they sell that theyre "trending up", and thats how they get their premature raises and extensions

I think its because we continually hire under-qualified HC's who just want to survive long enough to con James into an extension. Did you see Golden's argument about how he was promised by James or the AD that they would move the Nebraska game back a couple years because we werent ready to play...

For the “we don’t play anybody” crowd

well at least part of that is because they went to a 9-game conference schedule once Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri and TAMU left so they have one less OOC game to schedule. they want to keep their home games like everyone else.

For the “we don’t play anybody” crowd

Yawn none of this matters.. if we played FSU Notre Dame and Florida every year.. we would have a reapectable schedule.. who gives af if it's a rival, ooc team, florida school, or whatever the **** yal posters are debating.. because we can only control our OOC schedule, meaning James. Nothing...

For the “we don’t play anybody” crowd

we'd probably have to be undefeated, jsut like CLemson did this year. we have P5 OOC games every year..and yes James is a douche but no one can predict how good a team will be 5-10 years down the road, which is how early you have to schedule them. ORegon might have gotten in this year over OU...

For the “we don’t play anybody” crowd

If GT and SC are doormats, then so is Miami, maybe worse.... considering they have accomplished significantly more in the last 15 years than we have and our recent record against them is junk. If thats the case, why would anyone get credit for scheduling us in non-conf games?
  10. Miami[]_[]Smoke

For the “we don’t play anybody” crowd

Its hilarious that you say that when we just lost to 3-win GT at home and have lost the last 2 against them...and we just scheduled SC for 2026-27 and lost to them a few years ago last time we played them. oh and GT has won the coastal 4 times and the ACC once. If you need Miami's info to...

For the “we don’t play anybody” crowd

the real point is they have annual p5 non conf matchup with a rival located in Florida (so that game will always be in FL), we do not which requires us to schedule other home and homes hopefully with a p5 school, just like UF does with FSU. The rest are all home games because they’ll pay...

For the “we don’t play anybody” crowd

youre quite the genius. Fsu is a non conf opponent to uf , not us. Florida would be for us, get it yet?

For the “we don’t play anybody” crowd

maybe because they play FSU every year. If we played Florida every year, we wouldn’t leave the state either, unless it was to play app state or something
