We interviewed Rhett Lashlee for OC today; expected to interview Robert Anae today as well

I hope he’s not leveraging this into a raise or bidding with other schools. He was the plan A guy and was on campus in the beginning of the week. The longer this goes the worse. Especially with that Anae fella popping up. Which could be viewed as a positive , manny definitely gets fired with...

Pat Sullivan had influence on him too, it’s not all Malzahn. He’s taken from all three guys he’s worked under , which is always a good thing. He’s already worlds ahead of Malzahns route concepts.

116th and 104th in plays ran his last two years , in the 66 plays a game range. That’s god awful , just because you run no huddle occasionally doesnt make you uptempo.

Just because you’re in shotgun doesn’t mean spread dude , he ran a pro style offense. It was just in shotgun , stop. And even then we were very compact. We also didn’t use wide splits on the ol. There’s nothing about ricts offense that was spread, even the route concepts were basic pro style...

I’d much rather play Clemson with space , pace/tempo , wider splits and quick pass game to help the ol than whatever other option there is. Space and tempo alone is huge , just watch Clemson against unc

Welcome to cis. I just read a poster say Richt ran an uptempo / spread offense. Not sure where we find these guys.

We just went 6-7 with a coach on the hot seat and as toxic of a fan base you’ll find right now. This is way better than I was expecting, not a home run but Brady wasn’t either when he took the job. Nobody knows a home run until you see the product on the field.

They finished 127 out of 128 teams dude , they jumped to 74, that’s insane. Especially at that dumpster fire. http://adimeback.com/gone-wind-smu-poaches-rhett-lashlee-uconn/

You left a lot out of the story. I also have family in bama and one is a Auburn booster. Lashlee only called the plays one year and finished sixth nationally rushing , while losing his starting qb and rb. The qb that was hurt was Shawn white, and he was awful before the injury. The issue with...

No he doesn’t call plays ,the old dude does. They were alternating against Okl. I’m sure because of the situation that happened earlier. Brady brought the offense in though.

Don’t expect what you see at Auburn , that’s the main reason they split. Lashlee has a far more advance passing game. He runs a spread but also uses the te’s , which I’m sure that’s why manny was on him.

Exactly. Gus never puts up passing yards and when he loses it’s because of how basic the route concepts are. It’s even worse than Richts and his was prehistoric. Gus is all power football but not much else.

We interviewed Rhett Lashlee for OC today; expected to interview Robert Anae today as well

He doesn’t run Malzahns offense, he uses some of his concepts but he’s not as run heavy and has a lot more use of smash concepts with way more advanced route concepts/ combinations . This is why him and gus were bumping heads. He wanted to venture out and run more of his own stuff and Gus...

I’d love it, he runs a spread , uptempo with some of malzahns stuff and Pat Sullivan too. He just has way better route concepts than malzahn. Spent time with dykes so I’m sure he learned some air raid stuff. Good mixture imo.
