Seems like a poor plan. You got Silverfield excited about the possibility and players calling for him to be HC, only for another staff member to take over after? Those are the types of decisions that cause conflict amongst staff/friends (if they are).

I didn't see that yet - if they planned to make him HC, why promote Silverfield to interim HC for the bowl game?

100 rushing attempts were their QBs. I would wager a bet a large percentage were pass plays that didn't work because of a rush, skewing that number a bit. My issue with that offense is not the balance, in terms of run v pass percentage, but the run scheme.

I watched 5 minutes of the FIU tape and it was enough to tell me he runs Briles old Baylor system. Lots of 2x2 WR stacks out wide, very simple route combinations mixed in with a few 3WR set and iso on the opposite side (Corey Coleman tore this set up).
