If not Butch, how about Chuck Pagano?

Apple and Orange situation. Gase is a supposed QB guru. Sam Darnold needs mentoring. Jets's front office thought it was a good fit. But they have been making bad decisions year after year, since 1969 with Namath, except when Parcells took them to the AFC Championship against Denver, the year...

I agree. I would like to put some execution behind these ideas. How do you propose this should work? What is your opinion of a formal Advisory Board of former players demanding such?

Do you think an Advisory Board of former players would work? What is your opinion about how it should be rolled out? For goodness sake, Alonzo Highsmith is an NFL Front Office Executive.

What is your opinion about the former players forming an Advisory Board and demanding input to the administration. Had a conversation with Randall Hill and he liked the idea. Everyone comes out ahead if the program gets back to winning.

That has been the modus operandi, but now their backs are against the wall and the money is there. Sports merchandising revenue alone would cover it. Richt got them to open the pocketbook door a bit, now it is time to open it more. The school brought in revenue of $2.8 billion in 2016...

$5 million a year should garner a conversation, no? How about if he were assured another $15 to $20 million for the staff and support personnel? Between the merchandising and the ACC revenue, the school could afford it. They just have to pull the trigger.

Interesting. What are his reasons for not wanting the UM job, other than the obvious?

Chuck Pagano Great defensive coach. Top three defense in the NFL while the DC for the Ravens. Doing great with the Bears now. A Butch disciple. Knows how to recognize talent. He was on Butch's staff that built the 2001 National Championship team. So, he is a good talent evaluator. He was...

You are right. The reason this is the case, is because the University of Miami, not only has some of the most former Players in the NFL, they also have some of the most former coaches in the NFL. Pagano is a winner.

Great defensive mind. Did well as Head Coach at Indy until he fought through cancer (and won!). He may be our Schnellenberger equivalent. A former NFL Head Coach and excellent coordinator.
